A robot garage of hot-dip galvanised metal giving an ideal shelter, protecting
the machine from rain, hail and UV radiation.
A cable route with a rubber guard lets the charging cable be led out of the
garage conveniently. A floor area of 77 × 85 cm gives room for many kinds of
robot.
Two gas struts on the pentroof allow the roof to be lifted, so the buttons on
the robot for setting its functions are reachable even while it is docked at
the charging station.
The sloping roof sheds rain to the rear. Edge protection is fitted everywhere
to protect against injury to animals and people and damage to the robot.
It can be set on almost any level surface: on the lawn with the four included
ground pegs, or on a paved yard or concrete foundation with ordinary screws.

The cable
One listing on this shelf mentions how the charging cable gets out, and this is
it.
That is a strange gap in the others, because every robot garage is placed over
a powered docking station. The supply cable has to leave the enclosure, and
if there is no route it goes under a frame edge — pinched, in wet grass, for
years.
A moulded route with a rubber grommet is the correct answer and it costs
nothing to design in.
The gas struts
Three garages here let you reach the robot without removing the shelter. One
takes the roof off, one folds it, and this one lifts it on two struts.
The struts are the best of the three for a machine with physical buttons: the
roof stays up by itself while both your hands are on the keypad.
Edge protection
An odd thing to advertise and a correct one.
A garage made of folded sheet metal has cut edges, and they sit at ankle and
paw height on a lawn. Trim over them protects a hedgehog, a child’s hand and
the robot’s own bodywork as it drives in slightly off line — which it will.
The floor area, not the height
77 × 85 cm is stated. An internal height is not.
That is better than nothing and less than the one listing here that gives all
three internal dimensions. Robots are low machines and height is rarely the
constraint — but the docking station with its upright is sometimes taller than
people expect.

Beyond the euro zone, the British Amazon store prices it in its own currency, which the spread above sets aside.
