stated to extend the engine’s life. Compatibility is given for five named

uncomplicated maintenance.

Bought by engine, not by mower
This is the thing to understand about this whole shelf.
A lawnmower’s air filter belongs to its engine, and mower manufacturers buy
engines from a small number of suppliers. One filter therefore fits machines
from many different badges — which is why these listings name engine makers
alongside mower brands, and why the compatibility lists are long and mostly
true.
What the buyer has is the number on the old filter, or on the engine’s data
plate. That is what to search for.
Seven references and three dimensions
Both checks, on the cheapest item on the shelf.
The references settle it if yours is among them. The dimensions settle it if it
is not: a filter is a shape that has to sit in a housing, and 133 × 114 × 25 mm
is something a ruler answers.
This site reproduces reference numbers exactly as printed. A transcribed digit

The thing that is not said
Whether the element is paper or foam.
That decides the maintenance and it is not a small point:
Paper must never be washed. Water collapses the medium and it never filters
properly again. The only cleaning is a gentle tap to shed loose dust, and after
that it is a replacement.
Foam washes in warm soapy water, is squeezed rather than wrung, and on most
engines is lightly oiled afterwards.
