Mains machines, working width first
IKRA is on two shelves here, and both entries lead with a working dimension.
The scarifier states a forty-centimetre working width on a shelf where the common size is thirty-two. On this particular machine that difference is more consequential than it sounds: scarifying is the slowest operation in the lawn calendar, done in overlapping passes on a surface you are deliberately tearing, and a quarter more width per pass is a quarter less time on your knees afterwards.
The shredder is a roller type rather than a blade type. That distinction runs through the whole shredder shelf and is worth more than the wattage: a roller crushes and feeds itself slowly and quietly, a blade chops fast and loudly, and they produce different output for different purposes. A listing that names which it is has told you more than one that quotes a branch diameter.
Both are mains machines, both state a guaranteed sound power level, and the shredder’s is among the highest figures on this site.
