40 V here means two 20 V packs. That matters in three ways a title does not say: both packs are needed for the machine to run, a spare “battery” is two batteries, and the energy on board — about 160 watt-hours — is the sum.
That total is the largest of any complete kit in this family, and it is the reason the stated area is the largest too.
16 kg. Only one other machine on this shelf states a weight, and on a machine you carry down the garden and lift into a shed it is one of the two or three figures that decide whether you like owning it.
The 400 to 600 m² is presented as a specification and is an assumption: a battery calculation on short, dry grass at a middle setting, with the maker’s own numbers behind it. A range of 400 to 600 is itself an admission that the answer depends on the lawn.
There is no level indicator stated on a 50-litre box, and no noise figure at all.

It runs two 20 V packs in series, which is how most of the 40 V machines on this shelf are built. Both packs are required — a single one will not start it — and the energy on board is the sum of the two.
That is the manufacturer’s assumption, and the arithmetic behind it is not published. On short, dry grass at a middle height it is plausible; on a first cut of the season it will be a fraction of it. The stated-area figure has its own page in the standards section here.
It closes the discharge so clippings recirculate, which is the mechanical half. Whether they are cut finely enough to disappear depends on the blade profile and the deck shape, and a wedge changes neither.
