The bottom line The one cordless scarifier here, and it comes without a battery or charger — the title says so. A brushless motor, both scarifying and raking functions on a single-lever four-position height adjustment, a 40-litre bag, and a curved underside the maker states makes it easier to push than its rivals.
A cordless scarifier and lawn aerator with a brushless motor, which the maker states is more compact and gives 50 per cent longer running per charge, 25 per cent more power and ten times the motor life. It is a 2-in-1 machine: the scarifier lifts dead grass and moss and collects it, while the aerator lets oxygen, water and nutrients reach the roots.
A curved base design is stated to reduce resistance so the machine is much easier to push forward than others on the market. The height of the rake or scarifier blades is changed in four positions with a single lever, and the collection bag holds 40 litres. The pack is compatible with all of the maker’s 20 V, 40 V and 80 V tools. The machine is supplied without battery and charger.
Scarifying is the operation a cable suits least. It is slow, it is done in overlapping passes, it involves stopping every few minutes to empty a bag, and the surface underfoot is being deliberately torn.
This is the only machine here that removes the cable, and on a lawn away from a socket it is the only one that is practical at all.
“Ohne Akku & Ladegerät” — without battery and charger. It is in the title, which is the correct place for it.
A bare tool beside complete mains machines is not a price comparison. For somebody with packs on this platform it is the cheapest sensible entry; for anybody else the real cost is this plus a pack plus a charger.
The working width — on a machine whose whole job is covering ground. The depth range, as opposed to four positions. The blade and tine counts, which every other listing on this shelf gives.
That is an unusually thin specification for a machine at this price, and the listing spends its space on the motor instead.

More than on a mower. Scarifying is done in slow overlapping passes with frequent stops to empty a bag, and a cable being dragged across a lawn you are deliberately tearing up is the worst combination of the two.
That depends on the pack, and the machine takes packs from a large range rather than a dedicated one. The point for a comparison is that the listed price here and the listed price of a mains machine are not comparing the same contents, and this site marks it in the row.
The maker states it reduces resistance when pushing, compared with other products on the market. That is its claim and this page reports it as one — but the resistance of a scarifier at depth is the genuine physical complaint about the operation, so it is at least aimed correctly.
