German price recorded here.
The dearest hose on this shelf works out at roughly 2.79 € per metre, and
both are half-inch hoses.
That is a factor of nearly four across a shelf of superficially similar
products, which is why length belongs in the comparison rather than under it.
Four layers, cross-braided
The construction named is a cross-braid of high-quality yarn.
That is the layer that matters. A garden hose is a rubber or PVC tube that
would balloon and split under mains pressure on its own; the braid is what
holds it to shape, and how the braid is laid decides whether the hose kinks.
A cross-braid — yarn laid in two opposing helices — resists both pressure
and twist. A straight-laid reinforcement holds pressure and lets the hose
corkscrew.
The claimed resistances are UV and internal algae deposits. The second is a
real problem in a hose left full in the sun: green growth inside a translucent
tube, which is why hose walls are opaque.
20 bar burst. No working pressure published.
That is the pattern across this shelf — six of seven listings quote a burst
pressure and one quotes both.
The one that quotes both gives 9 bar working against 18 bar burst. A factor
of two, from the only product here that states the relationship.
So a 20 bar burst rating is not an invitation to run a hose at 20 bar. Domestic
mains typically arrives at a small fraction of that anyway, and the burst
figure exists to describe a margin, not an operating point.

Published, which four hoses here do not manage.
The cold end is the useful one. PVC stiffens as it cools; take a hose out at
2 °C and it uncoils like a hoop, and forcing it round a corner puts a permanent
crease in it that becomes the next split.
A −10 °C rating means it stays workable through a normal early spring. It does
not mean it can be left full of water through a frost — water expanding as
it freezes splits any hose, at any rating, and draining before winter is the
whole of the advice.
What goes unpublished
No wall thickness. No weight per metre.
One hose on this shelf gives both, and they are what tell you how a hose
handles: a thick wall resists kinks and crushing, and a heavy hose is hard work
to drag 25 metres across a lawn.
At 25 metres, that second figure would have been worth knowing.
