The one figure nobody else prints
Suitable for lawns of 600 square metres with the robot working five days a
week. Normally the blades must be replaced after four to five weeks.
That is the only working life published on this shelf, and it is published with
its conditions — an area and a frequency — which is what turns a number into
something you can use.
It also confirms what the machine manuals say and what most owners do not
expect: robot blades are a consumable with a life measured in weeks, not
seasons. A machine running most of the year gets through six to eight sets.
That is the honest reason these are sold in packs of thirty.
What else the maker’s page says
The replacement blades are 0.75 mm thick and weigh only 3 grams, with a life
stated to match the original blades. Sharp titanium alloy blades of stainless
steel with a titanium nitride coating give the cutting performance, and the
material combination is stated to increase strength, improve corrosion
resistance and extend life.
The set contains thirty blades and thirty screws, the screws designed
specifically for use with these blades. The maker states compatibility with all
models of three named brands.
The two dimensions
0.75 mm and 3 g — the same figures as another set on this shelf, and the usual
original specification.
Matching both matters. Thickness sets the pivot clearance and the stiffness;
mass sets the balance of the disc. A blade that matches on both behaves as the
original did, and one that is heavier changes the rotating mass on every
revolution.
“All models”
Three brand names, no specific machines.
This page reports it as the claim it is. The blade mount across this family of
robots is broadly common — which is why a shelf of universal blades exists at
all — but a brand is not a model, and the one listing here that admits it is
not an original part also asks you to check the hole pattern.
