What can be said
It is titled a kit, and on this shelf that word distinguishes two genuinely
different articles:
A wedge is a plug that closes the discharge opening. Three items here are
that, and the cheapest costs a sixth of the dearest.
A kit is that plug plus a mulching blade — a profile with more cutting edge
and a lift geometry that keeps clippings circulating under the deck to be cut
again.
Two listings here state explicitly that they contain a blade and a plug. This
one is titled a kit and itemises nothing, and its price sits with the ones that
do include a blade.
That is an indication, not a fact, and this page will not turn it into one.
How this part is actually bought
Through a dealer, or from the machine’s manual.
That is the honest answer for every manufacturer’s spare on this shelf, and it
is the only answer for this one. A mulching wedge is a moulding shaped to a
particular deck opening; there is no dimension that would let you check, and no
substitute for the machine’s own parts list.
Why this shelf has almost no aftermarket
Worth noting here because this listing shows the shape of it.
Six of the seven items on this shelf are manufacturers’ own parts. Almost every
other accessory family on this site is dominated by third-party sellers with
long compatibility lists.
The reason is mechanical. A blade is a flat bar with a hole and can be
copied by dimension. A mulching wedge is a three-dimensional moulding that has
to seal one particular chute, and copying it profitably means tooling for one
machine.
So the machine makers keep this shelf, and their listings are as informative as
they choose to be.

Listed and unsold: the Italian Amazon catalogue holds the reference with nobody behind it.
